Anyone providing dated static content based on CD-ROM, out-dated white pages, or compiled markeitng lists can offer flat rate or free look-up by advertising revenue since the updates only happen once a quarter or year at minimal cost. It cost us to access these accurate up-to-date listings. At $0.20/$0.33 per search, our clients consistently save up to 90% compared to traditional voice directory assistance. Keep in mind you get what you pay for!
Why do I have to register to use the service?
The simple registration process establishes a customer debit account for billing purposes. Approved corporate users may register to be invoiced monthly.
May I choose my own unique username and password?
Yes. For your convenience, you may choose your own username and password if available. Your username and password can contain five (5) to ten (10) alphanumeric characters each. You are responsible for all searches authenticated with your username and password. Take caution who you share this information with. If you suspect this information to be stolen, notify us immediately at support@masterfiles.com.
When I called directory assistance I was on hold for a long time. Should I have the same concern?
We can not speculate for them. With Reach™, you no longer have to wait. All searches are electronically processed in seconds.
What's the coverage area?
Reach™ currently covers the contiguous 48 states. That includes: AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, UT, VT, WA, WI, WV, WY.
I need name and address to a telephone number. Can you help me?
Unlike traditional voice diretcory assistance, Reach™ allows reverse search by telephone numbers. Of course, the telephone number must be listed to yield result.
How about name and phone number to an address?
Reach™ allows reverse search by address. Again, address must be listed to yield result.
How will I be charged?
$60 to fund your debit account. $0.20/$0.33 (based on search type and monthly volume) per billable inquiry. A response consists of one of the following, is considered billable: (i) A set of up to ten (10) or more listings. (ii) A "no record found" or similar message. (iii) A "too many records found" or similar message.
No charge for error messages.
How often will I be charged?
You'll be charge $60 to start service and additional $60 will be charged whenever your unused balance falls below $10.
I inquire a large sum of records every month. Do you have a volume pricing plan?

How do I sign up for the service?
You can sign up for the service through the simple encrypted or un-encrypted registration page. Encrypted page utilizes industry standard SSL technology to protect your credit card number. Corporate users may call (972) 490-3282 and speak to an Account Executive for registration and NET30 invoicing.
How do I cancel the service?
You can cancel the service at any time by emailing your request including username to cancel@masterfiles.com. You may receive an email requesting verification. Once verified, your account would be officially canceled and remaining balance credited to card on file. Future authentication attempts will be denied. If you decide to reinstate the service, simply register as a new user.
